They also provide access to laws, statutes, and regulations in pertinent disability-related areas. - healthfinder® is an award-winning federal government web site that links consumers to carefully selected information and web sites from over 1,700 health-related organizations. - This site helps consumers understand more about lab tests - what to expect, when they are necessary, and what the results mean. Look up information by specific lab test, disease and condition, or screening type. - The Mayo Clinic developed this web site as a consumer resource on diseases and conditions, healthy living, drugs and supplements, and other health assessment tools. - MedlinePlus is a service of the U.S. National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health. It contains information on health topics, drug information, medical encyclopedia and dictionary, and current health news. - The Minnesota Department of Health connects the public, health professionals and researchers to resources on specific diseases and conditions. - The National Institutes of Health provides health information and resources covering diseases and conditions, healthy lifestyles, research, and other on-line topics. - This federal government site provides links to a number of health-related topics, including diseases and conditions, safety and wellness, food and drugs, public health insurance options, and much more. - WebMD® is a commerical web site that offers advice on a range of medical conditions and health care issues. |
